Rivers Edge BBQ

Located on the edge of a steam. This bbq place is more of a picnic style venue. Bench tables next to the stream. Eat and enjoy the view of water rolling by. Brisket and pull pork are juicy and tender, and seasoned well without the saltiness. For sides, we ordered bbq baked beans, potatoes salad, and waffle fries. All the sides are good as well. At the time, there was only one person working, so be patience. Enjoy the outdoors while waiting for your food. Highly recommended for a summer luncheon.

We’re from California and wanted to stop to stretch our legs while waiting on our reservation for the national park. Smelled the smoke and decided to give it a try. We ordered brisket sandwiches and a slice of pecan pie. The meat was so tender. The food didn’t disappoint and the view was nice.

Outstanding brisket tacos! I’m a BBQ snob, but this was thick cut, pull apart, nice smoke ring mounds in 2 tacos. Definitely stop in ur way to the park!!

We found this awesome little gift shop in Estes Park, Colorado — super cute with a bunch of colorful flowers outside. Right next to it was River’s Edge Barbecue, and we found it totally by accident. The girls there were super friendly and offered us a free sample, so we gave it a shot. WOW. Best brisket we’ve ever had. And we’re from Texas, so that’s saying a lot! It was such a fun surprise — we weren’t even planning on eating there, but it turned out to be one of the best meals of the trip. We’re definitely coming back tomorrow before heading home. This place needs to be known everywhere — not just in Estes Park, but all over the world. Amazing food. Great people. Don’t miss it!

We stopped at the gift shop in the parking we saw the BBQ truck. It says Texas BBQ and we are from Texas so we had to try it after shopping! The lady at the food truck is very nice and even offered us samples of the brisket before we ordered. We got the brisket tacos. It comes with two big tacos and a side. The food was DELICIOUS! From a Texan I highly recommend River’s Edge BBQ! As a huge bonus there are picnic tables and chairs where you can sit to eat and watch the beautiful river flow by! It’s a win win!

we got the brisket sandwich! Amazing flavor the crust was perfection and we ate right by the river. Awesome experience 10 out of 10.

We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and the people were friendly. Some of the table surfaces were torn up by bugs, but still a beautiful location to sit down and rest a bit.

Very limited options. Sometimes less is best. The pulled pork was good, though lacked a lot of bark or that smoked flavor. The brisket made up for it, it was delicious! No sauce needed! Got a slice of their Texas Pecan Pie. Hate to say it but pretty sure it’s a bought pie and not a high quality one at that (if this was homemade I apologize and I’ve got a great recipe for a smoked pecan pie!). So, go for the bbq but skip the pie.
